MEGAN BEATON
Massage Therapist & Pilates Teacher
I am deeply passionate about Massage Therapy as a tool for both acute and chronic injury recovery, pain relief, and fostering the integration of physical and emotional well-being. I take great joy in working with clients throughout their entire lifespan, understanding that a healthy, reliable, and pain-free body is the foundation for living an active and fulfilling life.
My own Pilates journey began after experiencing a disc herniation. With the guidance of knowledgeable teachers and a strong desire to regain control over my body, I learned movement patterns that alleviated pressure on my discs and nerves. Through this process, I developed a stronger, more balanced connection between my muscles and movement. Pilates not only enhanced my quality of life but also transformed my approach to movement and pain, influencing my work as a Massage Therapist.
In my practice, I incorporate movement into the healing process, helping clients achieve long-term improvements in both how their bodies feel and move. My goal is to address immediate concerns while also providing clients with the tools and knowledge to take control of their bodies, so they can get back to doing what they love.
I have completed clinical Pilates education through Calibrate Pilates in Vancouver and am continuously advancing my education through Balanced Body.
